Hamza Riaz is the Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) Program Manager at Yura Yungi Medical Service. Before stepping into this role, he worked as a counsellor, supporting individuals and families on their healing journeys. With a Bachelor of Community Services and over five years of experience across counselling, aged care, NDIS, and broader community services, Hamza brings a strong mix of practical expertise, leadership, and compassion to his work.

He is passionate about helping families stay strong, supporting men to make positive changes, and creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone feels heard and respected. Guided by values of equality, accountability, and community connection, Hamza enjoys spending time with his family and is committed to fostering a future where people feel safe to talk about mental health and live together, supporting each other as a community.
