Lung Cancer Screening Coming to Halls Creek

The Heart of Australia mobile lung cancer screening service will be visiting Halls Creek on 16–17 March, providing local access to important screening services for eligible community members.

The Heart of Australia screening truck will be located at the Halls Creek Civic Centre during this time.

This service is delivered as part of the National Lung Cancer Screening Program, bringing vital health services to rural and remote communities.

YYMS encourages community members to get checked and talk with your doctor or health worker about whether you are eligible for a referral for lung cancer screening.

Lung cancer screening can help detect problems early, often before symptoms appear. Early detection can lead to better treatment options and improved health outcomes.
